Review of Beast

Review of Beast

I listened to this audiobook for almost an hour and absolutely nothing happened. It droned on and on in minute detail about muslim and persian religious practices, but the plot went nowhere and ultimately I lost interest. A very boring book.

Review of Of Beast and Beauty Audiobook

A really imaginative take on Beauty and the Beast. The book makes you constantly think about which character is the beauty and which is the beast, among two peoples with many shades of gray. There is just so much unique here… the world is set on another planet many generations… Read more »

Review of Plus One Audiobook

Plus One is a dystopia set in an alternate universe where society was divided into day/night (2 shifts) after the flu pandemic of the early 1900’s. The story is a bit complicated and the synopsis covers it better than I would. The story had a lot going for it and… Read more »

Review of VALIS

It’s a long-winded rambling of an insane person with little to not plot. Even the religious ideas are all over the place with no cohesion. There isn’t much story here, and certainly nothing of any entertainment or joy. It’s a dark journey into madness. Audiobook narration: The narrator did a… Read more »

In Dark Space: Revenge, the Sythians have come to dark space to conquer humanity. Meanwhile, Admiral Heston sends a mission to get help from the Avalonians. The book got to a very, very slow start.
